- Chinese President Hopes for 'Warm Spring' in Japan

- Chinese President Hu Jintao says he looks forward to a "warm spring" (cordial) atmosphere during his visit to Japan this week. Mr. Hu was optimistic in comments to Japanese reporters in Beijing Sunday that his visit will promote stronger ties between the two countries.

- Chinese and Tibetan sources say envoys of the Chinese government and the Tibetan government-in-exile have agreed to hold further talks, after meeting Sunday in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
- 中國和西藏方面的消息說，中國政府和西藏流亡政府的特使星期天在中國深圳會晤之後，同意進一步舉行會談。
