- China Identifies Pig Disease, Warns it Could Spread

- China's agriculture ministry says it has identified an animal disease that has killed at least 300 pigs in the southern province of Guangdong since late April.

- The ministry said Thursday the hogs were infected with a strain of blue-eared pig disease, and warned the illness could spread during hotter summer weather.

- Japanese intelligence agents have raided the offices of Hikari no Wa, or Circle of Light, a religious group that broke away from the cult behind the deadly 1995 nerve gas attack in Tokyo's subway.
