- Beijing Subway Suspends Operations Twice for Emergency

- China's state-run media are reporting that a subway line in the capital of Beijing was suspended twice today (Wednesday) for what it called an unspecified emergency.

- The official Xinhua news agency says service was suspended for about a half an hour each time on one of Beijing's subway lines (No. 2).
