  • Obama: Long Battle to Stop Gulf Oil Leak Coming to an End

  •   U.S. President Barack Obama says the long battle to stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico and contain the oil is finally coming to an end.

  • U.S., France and Britain to Attend Hiroshima Ceremony For First Time

  •   Nuclear powers the United States, Britain and France all will send representatives to ceremonies Friday marking the anniversary of the U.S. nuclear bombing of Hiroshima in 1945.

  •   It will be the first time any of the three attended the annual ceremony, which begins with the ringing of bells and the release of doves.
