  • North Korea Calls Missiles Tests "Successful", Vows to Launch More in the Future
  • 北韩称导弹试射成功誓言将继续发射
  •   North Korea has issued its first statement on its missile tests Wednesday, saying the launches were "successful" and promising more tests in the future.
  • 北韩发表有关星期叁导弹试射的第一份官方声明,称试射“成功”,并保证今后还要进行更多试射。

  •   Pyongyang also says it will use force against any outside opposition to the missile launches.

  •   Japan's defense chief, Fukushiro Nukaga, says Tokyo wants to develop a missile-defense system together with the United States as soon as possible.
  • 日本防卫厅长官额贺福志郎说,东京希望儘快与美国共同研製导弹防御系统。

  •   Nukaga told parliament in Tokyo Thursday that Japan wants to speed up work it has already begun, in cooperation with the United States, on a missile-interceptor network.
