  • US Military Chief Denounces Release of Afghan War Files

  •   America's top military officer says he is "appalled" at the release of thousands of secret documents covering the last six years of the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan.

  •   Speaking to reporters on his way from Afghanistan to Iraq Tuesday, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy Admiral Mike Mullen, said the unauthorized release of the papers could put U.S. troops in Afghanistan at risk.
