- I'll state my case, of which I'm certain

- I've lived a life that's full
- 我已经有个充实的人生
- I've traveled each and every highway
- 我走过了各条大街小巷
- And more, much more than this
- 而且，更重要的是：

- Regrets, I've had a few
- 懊悔？是的，我曾有过一些
- But then again, too few to mention
- 但是，说起来其实很少
- I did what I had to do
- 我做我应该做的
- And saw it through without exemption
- 顺其自然但不逃避责任
- I planned each charted course
- 我计画好每一次的行程
- Each careful step along the byway
- 谨慎地跨出每一步
- And more, much more than this
- 而且，更重要的是：
- I did it my way
- 我依照我自己的方式去做
- Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew
- 是的！是有那麼几次，我相信你也知道
- When I bit it off more than I could chew
- 当我贪心地想吞下我咬嚼不动的份量
- But through it all, when there was doubt
- 这一切虽然仍有所疑惑
- I ate it up and spit it out
- 我就是忍气吞声
- I faced it all and I stood tall
- 我抬头挺胸地面对一切
- And did it my way
- 且依照我自己的方式去做
- I've loved, I've laughed and cried
- 我爱过、笑过、哭过
- I've had my fill; my share of losing
- 我曾志得意满；也曾失败落寞
- And now, as tears subside
- 如今，当泪痕已乾
- I find it all so amusing

- To think I did all that

- And may I say - not in a shy way
- 容我大言不惭地说：

- For what is a man, what has he got?
- 什麼样的是男子汉？他拥有什麼？
- If not himself, then he has naught
- 如果不能拥有他自我，他就一无所有
- To say the things he truly feels
- 应说出他自己真正的感受
- And not the words of one who kneels
- 而不是卑躬屈膝的言语
- The record shows I took the blows
- 过去的纪录显见我是有担当的人
- And did it my way
