- Jinx you? 聽不懂，什麼是 jinx 啊？
- Jinx. Jinx can be used as a verb or a noun. One way to jinx someone is to say something unlucky, like you just said.
- 哦～，jinx 這個詞可以作動詞，也可以作名詞．你剛才說：You'll jinx me, 意思就是你認為我說 「這次你可別考砸了」 這句話不吉利，會讓你倒霉．哎喲，Michael, 你那麼迷信啊！
- Well, some people believe in jinxes. For instance, a lot of people think that there is a jinx on the Chicago Cubs baseball team. It hasn't won a World Series for 95 years.
- 哼～，有人說芝加哥棒球隊 「小熊隊」 撞上了倒霉運，所以老是進不了世界盃決賽．疑，Michael, 你剛才說，There is a jinx on the Chicago Cubs. 這個 jinx 就是名詞了吧？
- That's right! I don't believe in black magic or anything like that. But I do think that if someone hears something unlucky, or believes that there is a jinx, it can affect his or her performance.
