- A new report says the Chinese government continues to forcefully evict people from their homes as preparations expand for next year's Summer Olympics in Beijing.

- The report, by the Center on Housing Rights and Evictions, said a recent trip to the Chinese capital confirmed its estimate that one-point-five million people would be displaced by the time the 2008 Games are held next August.

- A senior Hong Kong official has criticized Disneyland's performance over the past two years, saying it has done an "unsatisfactory" job of attracting more visitors.

- Speaking to lawmakers Wednesday Fredrick Ma, Secretary of Commerce and Economic Development, praised Disneyland for helping enhance Hong Kong's brand image and its role as one of the port city's largest employers.
