  • Relatives of Taiwan's Ex-president Plead Guilty to Money Laundering

  •   Three relatives of Taiwan's former president, Chen Shui-bian, have pleaded guilty to charges of money-laundering overseas in a corruption case implicating the former leader.

  •   Mr. Chen's son, Chen Chih-chung, his daughter-in-law, Huang Jui-chin, and his brother-in-law, Wu Chin-mao, entered guilty pleas on Wednesday during a hearing at a district court in the capital, Taipei.

  •   U.S. President Barack Obama is spending his first full day in office addressing some of the toughest issues facing the country -- the financial crisis and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
