  • China Detains 81 People in Tibet Crackdown

  •   Chinese state media report that 81 people have been detained in Tibet in a crackdown that comes two months before the 50th anniversary of a failed uprising against Chinese rule.
  • 中国国家媒体报导,有 81 人在西藏被拘留;这次镇压的两个月后将是藏人反抗中国统治的起义 50 週年但失败了的纪念日。

  •   According to the state media, 51 people were detained for unspecified criminal activities and another 30 were taken in for robbery, prostitution, and theft.
