- Chinese state media report the newly launched Web site of China's defense ministry has been hacked more than two million times since it was launched three months ago.

- Ji Guilin, the editor of the Web site, tells the People's Daily in an interview published Wednesday that since the site went online, it has received a large volume of uninterrupted attacks.
