Difference Between Opposition Alliance and Maoists in Nepal Deepens
尼反對派聯盟與毛派分歧加深
　　Tens of thousands of Nepalese have held a victory rally in Kathmandu after King Gyanendra agreed to reinstate parliament, but another large crowd demanded he leave the country. The mixed reaction comes in the wake of political parties welcoming the king's move, but the Maoist rebels rejecting it.
數萬尼泊爾人在國王賈南德拉同意恢復議會後聚集在首都加德滿都市舉行勝利集會，但另外一場集會則要求國王離開尼泊爾．此前，尼泊爾政治黨派對國王的舉措表示歡迎，而毛派反政府武裝則拒絕接受。

　　The seven-party political alliance has ended its three weeks of protest rallies against the king, and has nominated former Nepalese Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala to head the country's new government.

　　In rejecting the king's decision, the Maoist rebels say protests will continue until a new constitution is written by an elected constituent assembly.

UN Says Nepal Must Repeal Shoot-on-Sight Orders

　　U.N. human rights expert Philip Alston says Nepal must immediately repeal a curfew-enforcing "shoot-on-sight" policy because it targets innocent people and violates international law.
聯合國人權專家菲力普．阿爾斯通說，尼泊爾必須立即取消執行戒嚴的“就地開槍”政策，因為其目標是無辜民眾並違反國際法。

　　Alston says systematic attacks against innocent people are considered a crime against humanity.
阿爾斯通說，有系統地針對無辜民眾的攻擊行為被視為反人類的罪行。

　　For 19 days, Nepalese police have clashed with pro-democracy demonstrators demanding King Gyanendra relinquish the absolute power he seized more than 14 months ago.
尼泊爾警方過去19天來與民主示威者發生衝突．示威者要求國王賈南德拉放棄14個多月前攫取的絕對權力。

　　On Monday, officials placed the capital, Kathmandu, under curfew for a fifth day. Security forces have orders to shoot anyone trying to enter the curfew zone.
