- Iraqi police say at least 46 people have been killed and 138 others wounded in suicide blasts at a Shi'ite mosque in Baghdad.

- The European Union has cut off aid payments to the Hamas-led Palestinian government because of the Islamic group's refusal to renounce violence and recognize Israel.
- 歐盟已停止向哈馬斯領導的巴勒斯坦新政府提供援助款，原因是哈馬斯拒絕放棄暴力並拒絕承認以色列。
- A spokeswoman for the European Commission Friday said direct aid has been suspended for the time being. Officials say the aid stoppage does not affect humanitarian aid sent to relief agencies.
