- Reports from South Korea say North Korean diplomats and officials stationed overseas are refusing a recent government order to send all but one of their children home.

- South Korea's Yonhap news agency quotes an unnamed source Tuesday as saying that none of the North Koreans in China had sent their children home by the original deadline, in a rare show of defiance against Pyongyang.
