- Chinese state media say one man has been killed and two others injured in a bombing in an office building in the northwestern Xinjiang region.

- The Xinhua news agency says a man detonated the bomb Thursday, killing himself after walking into the office of a construction company in the regional capital, Urumqi, and demanding $662 in unpaid wages.
