  • China Planning First Human Rights Action Plan

  •   China's ambassador to the United Nations says the government in Beijing has begun work on its first human rights action plan, to advance protections in the tightly controlled country.

  •   Addressing the U.N. Human Rights Council Monday during a meeting in Geneva, Li Baodong told representatives that the plan is the first of its kind and involves some 50 government agencies.
