- Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani met Wednesday with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao amid promises of friendship and growing strategic cooperation between the two countries.

- Speaking in the southern Chinese city of Suzhou earlier Wednesday, Mr. Gilani said his country's relationship with China is marked by "complete understanding, full trust and mutual cooperation and harmony."
