- The United States has expressed concern about Nepal's detention of three Tibetan activists who were leading anti-China protests.

- In a statement Thursday, a U.S. State Department spokesman said the three activists (Kelsang Chung, Ngawang Sangmo and Tashi Dolma) were detained without charge.
