  •   Mr. Obama's comments on the global economy came in a letter to heads of the Group of 20 nations, or G-20, who gather for a summit in Canada next week.

  •   Interim Kyrgyz leader Roza Otunbayeva says up to 2,000 people may have been killed in ethnic violence that has rocked southern Kyrgyzstan, ten times the official estimate.
