  • Reports: Libyan Troops Open Fire on Protesters

  •   Protesters in Libya staged a new push to oust long-time leader Moammar Gadhafi Friday, with reports of government forces shooting at demonstrators in the capital.

  •   Thousands of protesters are rallying in Cairo's Tahrir ((Liberation)) Square Friday, to pressure the Egyptian military to enact promised reforms.

  •   The protesters have called on the military, which is steering the government at present, to rid the cabinet of members loyal to ousted President Hosni Mubarak and replace them with fresh faces.
