  • President Bush Wants to Settle Iran Dispute Diplomatically
  • 布希總統望外交解決伊朗爭端
  •   The Bush administration says it wants to settle the Iranian nuclear crisis through diplomacy, although President Bush has not ruled out a military option.
  • 布希行政當局表示願意通過外交手段解決伊朗的核危機,不過布希總統沒有排除以軍事行動做為一種手段。

  •   White House spokesman Scott McClellan says President Bush is not taking any options off the table, but he said two recent media reports on plans for air strikes in Iran were based on what he called "wild speculation" by outside experts.

I.A.E.A. inspectors arrived in Iran Friday and have visited Tehran's uranium conversion facility in Isfahan. A visit to the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz is also on the agenda.

  • Protesters Demand Greater Rights for Illegal Immigrants

  •   Protesters have begun new marches in the United States to demand greater rights for more than 11 million illegal immigrants. Demonstrators wearing white t-shirts and waving American flags paraded today (Monday) in Atlanta as part of the National Day of Action for Immigration Justice. Marches also were planned in Washington, D.C. and more than 100 other cities.
